To serve as a compensation and operations resource to the Clinical Departments, Division Chiefs and Faculty by understanding, interpreting or predicting compensation and productivity outcomes of individual Faculty, divisions and departments. Recommends resolutions to the Advisory Group and offers guidance to Physicians, Department Chairs, and Division Chiefs. Communicates and reports information effectively and on time to appropriate audiences, conducting presentations as needed. Supports MCVP’s websites or other databases by updating the security, content and messages as required and informs Faculty of important updates, events and matters relating to their compensation or other operational objectives.
This individual serves as a technical point - of – contact for assigned functional areas and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. Consults with Senior Leadership, faculty and staff to gather information about system needs, objectives, functions, features and input and output requirements. Analyzes, defines, and documents requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls, and outputs. Modifies existing programs to conform to system changes in programs, computer applications, limitations, etc. Writes and maintains documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections. Monitors performance of programs after implementation.
Level and type of experience required/preferred: Minimum of three (3) years previous work experience in Health Care, Human Resource Operations or Information Systems. Previous reporting experience using tools such as SharePoint, Crystal, SQL, MS Access and/or COGNOS. Previous experience using a personal computer and various software applications to include Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Previous experience in SharePoint development and maintenance; COGNOS reporting and project leadership. Education, training or certification required: BS/BA in business, information systems or related field. Technical support experience, preferably supporting business applications software. Proficient in Windows and Windows NT, as well as various software applications.
