Responsible and accountable for planning, organizing, and directing all aspects of the Human Resource function (labor relations, employee relations, recruitment, benefits, compensation, employee health, management development, succession planning, organization effectiveness, eployee relations & diversity, and the development and administration of policies and procedures) in the South Bend Communty School Corporation (SBCSC), to insure a stable, motivated, competent workforce is maintained in order to achieve the strategies and operational goals and objectives.
Successful attainment of a Master's degree in Business, Human Resource Management, or related field, and a PhD or EdD degree preferred if acting as the Chief Learning Officer. Ten or more years of progressively responsible experience in human resources management, at least five of which were in a senior management or executive level position, is required. Three to five years of related public education experience preferred. SPHR, and/or CEBS certification is preferred.
