Job Description Summary
The primary responsibility of the staff pharmacist is to ensure the accurate, age appropriate and timely preparation of all medication orders. The pharmacist is responsible for the supervision of pharmacy technicians, interns and students. The pharmacist facilitates the day to day operations of the pharmacy and performs other duties as assigned. The pharmacist will perform specific clinical functions in accordance with written policies and procedures. The pharmacist will provide drug information/education to patients, medical and hospital staff, as required. This position reports to the Director of Pharmacy.Entity

Experience: Minimum one year experience in a hospital pharmacy preferred
Additional Job Description
Education: Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy, Advanced Degree in Pharmacy (PharmD or MS) preferred
Licenses/Certificates: Current Licensure as Registered Pharmacist in South Carolina or eligible for licensure
