AVID tutors at our school get the opportunity to work together with the AVID Coordinator to guide students toward academic and personal excellence that will reach far beyond their high school years! As an AVID tutor, you are an active participant in the learning, growth, and personal development of students. As an AVID Tutor you will assist students by: ? Leading collaborative study groups (Tutorials) in the AVID Classroom ? Encourage all students in group to ask questions & take notes ? Checking student notes & binders ? Acting as a Role Model ?
