Hours Per Day: 8 hours


Salary Range: New hires will be set at $20.50 per hour. The salary range for internal candidates is $20.50 to $24.90 per hour.

* Early Childhood Education Paraprofessional Job Description
- The Early Childhood Education Paraprofessional assists with delivery of instruction, care, discipline, and the preparation of instructional materials for three, four and/or five year-old pre-kindergarten students as directed by the ECE classroom teacher. The Early Childhood Education Paraprofessional performs classroom duties which may include but are not limited to preparing instructional materials, assisting with student instruction, care and discipline, and keeping the classroom clean and well-organized.
- Provides instruction to students in an Early Childhood Education classroom. Implements the District’s ECE program at the local school level under the direction of the school principal and the Instructional Support staff. Must comply with ECE program rules, regulations and State of Colorado licensing requirements for Child Care Centers, including re-fingerprinting, a child abuse and neglect background check, and annual training.

Education Requirements:
