Job Description

Provides oncology social work services to Hollings Cancer Center patients and families using a collaborative approach.   Assists patients and their families in making psychosocial adaptations specific to their diagnosis, while facilitating eligibility for social programs and financial resources.   Assesses, plans, implements, monitors and evaluates the options and services required to address a patient’s individualized plan of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.    Facilitates support groups and provides education to the staff.   The individual must possess the ability to clinically assess emotional health issues and identify and address psychosocial barriers.

Education: Bachelors Degree or equivalent Work Experience: 4-6 years
