Confidential Executive Secretary                                       Location:  ADC/Community Learning Center
Position: 12 Months 8 Hours                                              Status:  Non-Exempt
Starting Pay: $18.09 - $20.00/Hour
Open Date:  8/12/2019                                                         Closing Date:  8/18/2019
 
Essential Job Functions:
Under the direction of the Coordinator of Special Services and the Coordinator of Student Discipline and Alternative Student Programs, coordinate and support the work of these two departments. Collaborate with all 27 Parkway schools, other district departments, and the Special School District of St. Louis County (SSD) in regard to student discipline and students with special needs. This includes understanding of processes and policies (discipline and disability laws), data management, data input, reconciliation of data between multiple student data systems (i.e., Infinite Campus, EXCEED), preparing correspondence for families regarding discipline, and managing budgets.
 
 
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years administrative support experience
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office, MUNIS, word processing, spreadsheet and database software
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to function in a multi-task, deadline oriented environment with numerous interruptions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to relate effectively with tact, courtesy, and discretion with administrators, staff, students and the general public while maintaining confidentiality
  • Familiarity with district, including board policies and procedures
