Job Description:

  • JOB SUMMARY
    • The chief objective of this position:

      • Provides quality customer service to patients of all ages, their families, visitors, medical staff, clinicians and co-workers ensuring that everyone is treated courteously, quickly and with respect. To handle all business functions in Perioperative Surgical Services which may include a combination of functions including reception; communication; patient registration; scheduling surgeries, database, EMR maintenance and inform patient of provider delays.
    • Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Hire:

      • N/A
    • Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for continued employment:

      • CPR
    • Experience REQUIRED:

      • Minimum of two (2) years of previous secretarial/administrative work experience in an office setting
      • Previous experience with Microsoft Office applications & e-mail/calendaring
    • Experience PREFERRED

      • Three (3) years of previous secretarial/administrative work experience in an office setting
      • Previous experience in a health care setting
    • Education/training REQUIRED: (Note: work experience may be considered in lieu of credentials not required by law with HR approval. Work experience must be specific to role)

      • High School graduate or equivalent
    • Education/training PREFERRED:

      • Post high school education in healthcare or business related coursework.
