Description Des Moines Public Schools is seeking a Family/Consumer Science Teacher.

Job Summary:
Responsible for planning and delivering a high-quality educational program to meet children’s academic and social-emotional needs.

Successful candidates for this position will possess:
Valid Iowa teaching license with appropriate endorsement: 5-12 Family/Consumer Science

Highly Qualified Candidates for the position will possess:
Previous classroom teaching experience.
Experience in an urban school district.

Contract days vary by assignment
7.75 hours

Candidates offered employment will be compensated based on skills, work experience and education.
