The Coordinator, School Health Services, will assist the supervisor in performing administrative duties of the department. The Coordinator, School Health Services, will collaborate with other administrators, staff, parents, community agencies, and practitioners to meet the needs of students. The Coordinator, School Health Services, reports directly to the Supervisor of School Health Services.

Qualifications:

Education: A master’s degree is required. Formal training as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Registered Nurse (RN) is required. Doctorate (Ph.D. or DNP) is preferred.

Experience: Three (3) years of school nursing or school nurse practitioner experience is preferred. Two (2) years of related management or supervisory experience is preferred.

Certificates/Licenses/Registrations: State of Florida License, or Multistate License that includes Florida, as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Registered Nurse is required.
