Description The Parkway School District Department of Human Resources is currently accepting applications for the position of Coordinator of Parents as Teachers for the 2025-2026 school year.

The Coordinator of Parents as Teachers has major responsibilities in the following areas:
  • Supervising, hiring, coaching, and evaluation of Parent Educators
  • Development and implementation of Prenatal to Kindergarten Entry
  • Monitor budget and complete state invoices, payment requests, and reports
  • Collaborate with community agencies, such as First Steps, etc.
  • Oversee publication of newsletter
  • Plan and oversee parent workshops, special events, and parent-child activity sessions
  • Maintain program records and documentation
  • Design and provide professional development and professional learning communities
Basic Requirements:
  • Masters degree in early childhood education or early childhood special education
  • Certification in public school administration preferred
  • Ability to work with a team of early childhood administrators to develop the vision and goals for the entire early childhood program
  • In-depth knowledge Parents as Teachers National Center curriculum
  • Commitment to and experience working with parents and young children
  • Experience in home visiting model
  • Willing to advance certification and degree in public school administration
Minimum salary $89,035 - commensurate with experience
12-month working contract
