This job assignment receives direction from the Lead Coach and administrative direction from the High School Principal or other building administrator as assigned.
Summary of Assignment:
The Associate High School Robotics Coach is responsible for assisting the lead coach in recruiting and training students for robotics competitions.

Guidelines for Class Use:
Robotics teams meet 2 days per week (days to be determined) for 2 hours after school. (Follows District’s after-school schedule). Lead will also supervise team at 2-3 Saturday all-day First Robotics competitions beginning in late November (dates to be determined). Meetings vary based on the activities needed to ensure preparedness for all upcoming on/off-season events. The season runs from September through April assuming grant funding is available.
Minimum Education and Experience
  1. Possession of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
  2. Employment in this class is conditional upon possession of a valid CT State Board of Education teaching certificate appropriate to the teaching assignment.
  3. Incumbents in this class may be required to possess and retain a current Motor Vehicle operator's license.
