Administrative Assistant III (District Activities & Scheduling)
Location: Athletics (Admin Bldg)
Position: Year-round (12 Months 8 Hours)
Status: Non-Exempt, Band 5
Open Date: 1/29/2025
Closing Date: 2/6/2025
Starting Pay: $18.23 per hour (and up, depending on verifiable experience)
Essential Job Functions:
This customer service-oriented position supports the administrative needs of the Athletics & Activities department, as well as providing assistance to the Deputy Superintendent and Superintendent departments. Primary responsibilities include working with schools, departments, and community groups on coordination, scheduling, and billing related to District facility usage and managing extra duty assignments. Position frequently manages communication with internal and external groups, including handling sensitive and confidential matters. Duties, responsibilities, and work hours are subject to change according to the needs of the District.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; College Degree preferred.
Three (3) years of administrative support experience preferred.
Experience with event planning, scheduling software, and/or accounts payable and receivable preferred.
Effective written, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, completing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to establish and execute priorities with minimum direction or instruction.
Proven ability to maintain confidentiality.
Must work well as part of a team and individually.
Comfortable and proficient with Microsoft Office and Google platforms.
