This role specifically supports the Roaming Finance organization. The Sr Analyst will support the life cycle of manual discounts with our tier 1 roaming partners. The Manual Model work statement includes contract interpretation, financial model build, financial model operation, settlement statement at end of term, booking in internal systems, ongoing reporting through lifespan. This person is expected to become a SME for our Discount Management Tool vendor and FCH vendor Tools to support the production, accuracy and availability of department reporting. In addition, collaborating with our business partners in FP&A and Accounting and the cross-functional interaction with internal and external business partners.

Design and produce standard and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, cubes, and various data visualization reporting solutions.  Gather and document report requirements.  Write report specifications to meet business needs. Use reporting tools, applications, and/or queries to create and configure new reports and dashboards. Perform modifications and enhancements on existing reports based on evolving business requirements. Validate and test reports to ensure accuracy and quality. May participate in the design and development of business intelligence reporting tools. May provide support and training to end-users for reporting tools and reports.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support of holistic Manual Model work statement as describe in the Job Summary
  • Identify and communicate insights to partner teams and stakeholders
  • Responsible for the analysis, design, & testing of various enhancements & changes to reports or information portals
  • SME for external roaming vendors, vendor tools and roaming partners
  • Partner with customers & stakeholders on the development and production of a wide range of reports. Ensure delivery meets agreed upon requirements
  • Gather moderately complex data inputs from multiple sources, both internally and externally. Run data queries from reporting tools, ensuring integrity of data and reporting
  • Complete moderately complex ad-hoc research, analysis, and reporting
  • Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree Business, Finance, Information Management or related field - Required

Work Experience:

  • 2-4 years Experience mining data and developing reports using a variety of reporting/analytics software packages with an aptitude for learning new reporting software packages - Required
  • Experience in Roaming - Preferred
  • Experience in Contract Interpretation - Preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication - Required
  • Executive presence - Preferred
