hours per day,
Maintenance Mechanic III
position available.
This position is responsible for the proper operation of all mechanical systems and will perform maintenance trade activities to maintain District property in good repair. The applicant must possess the ability to perform one or more of the following trades: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and grounds. The applicant must have previous experience in Lawn Care, Landscaping, Horticulture, or Athletic Field Maintenance, as well as previous experience in irrigation repair. The ability to maintain accurate and precise records of Fertilizer and Control Product Applications, Preventative Maintenance Schedules, and Work Orders is essential. The applicant must have electrical experience and the ability to work with voltage, up to and including, 480v under direct supervision. The applicant must be able to read building plans and drawings, and order material as necessary. The applicant must have the ability to install and repair piping up to 2”. The ability to layout, run, size and install piping. The candidate must have the knowledge of general carpentry including framing and finishing walls, building decks, and construction of classroom/offices. The candidate must have the ability to comprehend, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, direct digital HVAC controls, and HVAC related equipment. The candidate must be able to read HVAC drawings, schematics, and air/water balancing methods. The candidate must have knowledge of materials, tools, equipment, and procedures used in trades. The candidate must also must be adaptable, flexible, and willing to work on a team.
Applicants must possess a High School diploma and have at least three years of practical experience in a specific trade or combined experience in several trades. The applicant should have corrected hearing or vision within normal ranges.

FBI Finger Print Clearance (less than one year old)
TB Test/Mantoux (less than 3 months old)
Physical - if applicable (less than 1 year old)
