Description Salary per ABOSA contract
Full Time - School Year (10 months) + 2-3 additional weeks

Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge and skills required to perform this job successfully:
  1. High school graduate or equivalent with demonstrated successful experience in the administrative capacity or comparable experience. Associates degree preferred.
  2. Possess a thorough knowledge of and familiarity with modern office technology, electronic equipment and software applications (Google, Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint). Knowledge of school-based data systems and operations (Powerschool & MUNIS) preferable.
  3. Ability to organize and maintain accurate hard copy and electronic filing and data systems.
  4. Good communication and language skills, ability to take up roles and responsibilities on a proactive basis.
  5. Able to work autonomously, prioritize and reprioritize tasks, and work effectively despite numerous interruptions from staff, students,and community.
  6. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, students, parents, and the general public. Willingness to help others.
  7. Uphold highest level of confidentiality.
Primary Functions:
Provide office support to the Administration, faculty, staff and students as well as the public.
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Oversee organization's main office reception area and functions: direct all incoming telephone calls, provide directions and information to visitors, staff/faculty. Operation of Public Announcement system, maintain phone lists and manage conference room scheduling.
  • Compile and maintain official record of daily student attendance in PowerSchool. Process daily attendance: absences, tardies, dismissals, parent notification of unexcused absences.
  • Manage Substitute Teacher Coverage both external and internal subs.
  • Update School Calendar for Schedule, Events, and Extracurricular Activities.
  • Assist with overflow work and special projects from Office Manager and Administration.
  • Support Financial Coordinator with Requisition/Purchase Order Process.
  • Produce and maintain reports from Power School, i.e. Attendance Reports, Master Schedule, Grade and Address Change requests.
  • Handle and Process all US incoming/outgoing mail.
  • Maintain and update CORI requests for high school employees and volunteers.
  • Support large annual school events including Back-To-School Night, Graduation, Scholarship Night, and Faculty Events.
  • Responsible for maintaining Field Trip Bus Orders, Accident Reports, and Book Rebinds.
  • Act as backup support to Faculty Support Center and Dept. Center Copiers.
