Job details

The Radiopharmacy Technician is a technically skilled individual that assists Radiopharmacists. The responsibilities include but are not limited to preparing and dispensing radiopharmaceuticals according to Standard Operating Procedures. Some of the Tasks involve performing Quality Control (QC) testing on various drug samples, facility and equipment maintenance & cleaning, radiopharmaceutical package receiving and shipment, performing radiation safety functions, and waste management.

You Need:

High School Diploma/GED or higher with the following skills/experience:

  • Required Skills/Experience:
    • Candidate must have impeccable communication skills
    • Candidate must have excellent organizational skills for data and document management
    • Ability to adapt to a highly dynamic environment
    • Must be a team player with a patient-centric focus
  • Preferred Skills/Experience:
    • Radiopharmacy Technician experience required (Minimum 1 year)
    • Pharmacy Compounding of sterile preparations (working knowledge of USP 797 & 823)
    • PET/SPECT Radiopharmaceutical handling experience preferred
