Description License and Certification Qualifications: Must hold or be eligible for a valid Georgia Educator's Certificate in Educational Leadership and/or Support Personnel License issued by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission.

Education Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.

Experience Qualifications: Five years of experience in programming, analysis, and management required. Two years of experience in a leadership position in the information system field preferred.

Skills Qualifications: Ability to be customer service oriented to internal and external customers and effectively communicate with school system employees; ability to conceptualize abstract concepts and translate user needs and problems into creative solutions; ability to analyze and solve problems; thorough knowledge of programming languages; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; ability to set and meet deadlines; and ability to work across functional departments and interact with employees at all levels of the organization.

Primary Responsibilities: Coordinate and manage designated software analysis, design, and development for multiple platforms for the IT Solutions and Design Department.

1. Supervise the development of staff through the assignment of tasks, including monitoring workloads and evaluating staff.



2. Coordinate gathering project requirements, assigning development tasks, monitoring progress, and assisting in the implementation of assigned activities.



3. Develop, build, and maintain working relationship and general knowledge of other areas of the department and division.



4. Develop, build, and maintain working relationship and general knowledge of user business and operations.



5. Develop, build, and maintain technical expertise in the information systems field.



6. Analyze the departmental budget and provide recommendations in the development of the departmental budget.



7. Contribute to the strategic planning for the department and various applications.



8. Provide exemplary service to all customers and stakeholders.



9. Coordinate the continuous improvement efforts for all departmental processes.



10. Perform other duties as assigned.
