SUMMARY
Effectively manage the learning environment to prepare lesson plans, instruct students, evaluate and monitor students’ performance in order to advance student achievement. Understand and appreciate diversity. Work collaboratively with a team to plan instruction. Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Arizona Secondary Certificate with American Government/Political Science or Social Studies Approved Area
OR
Arizona Subject Matter Expert Certificate 6-12 with American Government/Political Science or Social Studies Approved Area
CURRENT Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino students
Bilingual (Spanish) endorsement

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED UPON HIRE:
Provide proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.

Effective: 2024-2025X SCHOOL YEAR
LOCATION: Site - Pueblo High School?- Ajo & 12th Ave Area
FTE : 1.0 - 7.5 hours per day
Work Calendar: 9.5 month


Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.

Probationary Contracts will be issued for any contingent Certifications, Positions that are 0.6 FTE or less, and certified employees within their first three years with the District.
