Description License and Certification Qualifications: Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) or Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.

Education Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field preferred.

Experience Qualifications: Five years of experience in human resources or related field required.

Skills Qualifications: Proficient in computer applications skills; excellent interpersonal and human relations skills; high degree of skill in oral and written communication; ability to maintain records with a high degree of accuracy; accurately collect and present quantitative data; process manual entries; respond appropriately to questions from applicants and placement officials. High degree of skill in organization and problem-solving; ability to efficiently and effectively manage a high-volume work environment; ability to process transactions accurately and in a timely manner; ability to effectively analyze information and data, ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality; ability to analyze existing processes, identify areas for improvement, and design and implement process improvement initiatives; strong computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office required; and knowledge of PeopleSoft and Applitrack preferred.

Primary Responsibilities: Provide support and assistance in the organization, coordination, and implementation of all human resources functions by proactively identifying candidates to fill district-wide vacancies with qualified employees.

1. Coordinate with recruiters, cluster business partners, and hiring managers to determine current vacant positions, projected vacant positions, and position requirements.

2. Develop talent pipelines and ready lists of candidates for future hiring needs.

3. Communicate and interact with applicants through telephone, email, social media, and professional networks in a timely manner.

4. Maintain applicant folders and keep up to date candidate information as applicants apply to teaching positions.

5. Create Job Alerts and search “All Schools” postings daily. Communicate with applicants upon receipt of application.

6. Manage collegiate job posting sites.

7. Work directly with applicants from initial contact and continued outreach to ensure understanding of the entire employment process.

8. Utilize available data to prepare information on available qualified applicants for timely referrals to recruiters, cluster business partners, and hiring managers.

9. Assist with applicant outreach regarding job fairs and upcoming career events by communicating with college career centers.

10. Promote employer brand through candidate interaction.

11. Communicate with all parties in a businesslike, professional, and efficient manner.

12. Establish and maintain an effective working relationship with central office staff, applicants, and other employees.

13.Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods of time. Employee is also required to talk, hear, stand, and walk. The employee may be required to use hands to finger, handle, feel, and/or reach. Employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
