General Qualifications

• Must hold a valid ISBE Professional Educator License in Early Childhood or Early Childhood Special Education
• Bachelor’s degree required, masters preferred
• Three plus years successful early childhood experience required
• Demonstrated success in working and collaborating with adult learners
• Communication and interpersonal skills which are effective, respectful, and sensitive for a diverse population
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must be able to work independently

Terms of Employment

• 180-day position plus limited summer hours; wages, hours, terms, and conditions of employment in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Board of Education and the Danville Education Association

• Building principal or designee
