Salary: Per A.B.E.A. Contract

Description: Promotes teachers' delivery and understanding of mathematics and STE curriculum through collaborative long range and short range planning, exploration of content, reflection of practice and implementation of new practices. Collaborates with teachers through job ­embedded learning (co-­planning, co­-teaching, and coaching) and differentiates professional support to meet individual needs over time. Leads professional learning opportunities to help deepen educator content knowledge and broaden pedagogical strategies. Understands and implements evidence­ based practices, engages in good listening skills and promotes a collaborative problem­ solving approach. Holds an unwavering belief that every student can grow and succeed, skilled in providing equitable access to curriculum, particularly for underserved populations. Coordinates work with K-­6 Mathematics and STE Curriculum Coordinators. May provide some small group instruction. Reports to the Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning.

Qualifications:
Certification:
Massachusetts Elementary teaching certificate
Degree: Graduate degree in education, mathematics, or STE field
Teaching Experience: Elementary Teaching Experience, and 2-­3 years of Coaching Experience preferred.
