Job Description

Supervises personnel involved in departmental operations; serves in operations management of a medium-size unit or assists in management of a larger department. Plans, directs or coordinates the operations of a unit or medium-size department. Manages daily operations of the unit. Plans, develops and maintains efficient operating systems for the data processing and distribution of data to customers. Schedules personnel and equipment for the efficient use of information technology resources. Ensures that data processing equipment is properly maintained; maintains the associated supply inventory. Organizes and establishes operating controls and tracking methods to ensure the timely and accurate processing of data. Plans the use of materials and human resources. Manages staff, preparing work schedules and assigning specific duties. Supervises and participates in departmental operations. Develops policies and procedures for related areas. Determines staffing requirements, and interviews, hires and trains new employees. Develops project plans for operational or technology related projects.

Additional Job Description

Education: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Work Experience: 7 years progressive work experience and 2 years management experience
