Job Description

The Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology in The Dr. Charles P. Darby Jr. Department of Pediatrics at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is searching for a board-certified (or eligible) pediatric hematologist/oncologist to join our collaborative, patient-focused team. The pediatric cancer program has been consistently ranked in the top 50 programs by US News and World Report, including a ranking of #14 in the country for outcomes in 2023-2024.

The Division is an active participant in clinical trials through the Children’s Oncology Group, Beat Childhood Cancer, and the Pediatric Transplantation & Cellular Therapy Consortium. We also maintain a dynamic portfolio of industry-related oncology, hematology, and sickle cell clinical trials. We have the only pediatric stem cell transplant, CAR-T, sickle cell gene therapy, and pediatric hematology/oncology fellowship programs in South Carolina. The Division collaborates closely with Hollings Cancer Center, MUSC’s NCI designated cancer center, as well as the Darby Clinical Research Institute.
