Specialists perform additional job duties including: Performing Quality Assurance activities, Implementing new Testing/instrumentation, Developing and reviewing processes and procedures, and Ensuring compliance of accrediting agency standards.
Additional Job Description
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related scientific discipline and a minimum of five years advanced work experience in the specialty area. Certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP BOC) required. Previous technical supervisory work experience preferred.
