Minimum Qualifications:
All applicants must possess a valid PA certificate in the area of School Nursing with a current professional PA Registered Nurse licensure; or a valid PA Registered Nurse Licensure; experience in working in pediatric care is a plus; valid CPR Certification for health care provider is required; satisfactory work experience; excellent oral and written communication skills; and the ability to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents. All Pennsylvania State Police Request for Criminal Records Check (Act 34). Department of Public Welfare Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151). And Federal Criminal History Record Information (CHRI) in a manner prescribed by the Department of Education.
