Job Description Summary

We are hiring a Program Coordinator-I (PC-I) to serve as a clinical research coordinator and psychometrist for NIH-funded neuroimaging projects on cognitive aging and Alzheimer’s Disease. The PC-I will be mentored by Dr. Andreana Benitez, and will be directly supervised by a SoCRA-Certified Clinical Research Professional and a master’s level lead psychometrist. The PC-I will be primarily responsible for conducting neuropsychological testing, conducting and overseeing all research related activities including the coordination of study visits, data collection, management of study documents, and promotion of study integrity/protocol compliance.

We are hiring a Program Coordinator-I (PC-I) to serve as a clinical research coordinator and psychometrist for NIH-funded neuroimaging projects on cognitive aging and Alzheimer’s Disease. The PC-I will be mentored by Dr. Andreana Benitez, and will be directly supervised by a SoCRA-Certified Clinical Research Professional and a master’s level lead psychometrist. The PC-I will be primarily responsible for conducting neuropsychological testing, conducting and overseeing all research related activities including the coordination of study visits, data collection, management of study documents, and promotion of study integrity/protocol compliance.

Job Duties:

30%- Administers and scores neuropsychological tests and other behavioral assessments according to standardized procedures and under the direct supervision.

30%- Implements and maintains data collection and analysis systems in support of research protocol; may coordinate the collection and analysis of research data. Ensures the smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of research and data collection activities; acts as the primary administrative point of contact for internal research staff.

20%- Assists with research participant recruitment and facilitates/supports the conduct of research procedures such blood draws and brain MRIs.

10%- Assists the PI/Investigators and other study team members with consenting subjects and maintaining adherence to regulatory procedures.

10%- Trains other staff in some of the aforementioned duties, depending on the trainee’s skill level.

Minimum Requirements: A bachelor's degree and one year of relevant program experience.
