Job Description
The position will report to the Infusion Prior Authorization Pharmacy manager and the pharmacy system director for ambulatory infusion. Work with a team of pharmacists and other pharmacy technicians to evaluate infusion medication requests and facilitate the prior authorization process. The ideal candidate will be motivated, possess excellent communication and time management skills, be able to work in a team environment to provide safe and efficient care to patients through timely completion of the prior authorizations, follow-through on all assigned tasks, be accountable for assigned work metrics, and a commitment to optimizing medication access for patients. Previous experience with completion of prior authorizations preferred.
Additional Job Description
Education: High School Degree or Equivalent
Work Experience: 2 years preferred
SC pharmacy technician license in good standing
