The Assistant Dean for Finance, Administration & Strategic Partnerships provides leadership in directing and managing the financial and business operations of the College, with a focus on strategic initiatives and sustainable practices. By integrating sustainable practice opportunities into financial and administrative operations, the Assistant Dean for Finance & Administration will contribute to the College's mission of excellence while promoting environmental stewardship and long-term viability.

Job Description

Fiscal and Budgetary Management (35%): Plan, develop, and monitor the entire fiscal and budgetary process for the College. Identify and integrate new revenue streams and sustainable practice opportunities.


Revenue Generation and Business Development (20%):Maximize revenue generation to support the College's mission. Negotiate contracts with outside agencies and collaborate with faculty leaders to develop proposals and pro formas for new business opportunities. Contribute to exploring sustainable practice initiatives. 


Human Resource and Procurement Oversight (10%):Direct the human resource function and procurement activities for the College, emphasizing sustainability in workforce management and resource allocation.


Financial Information Systems (10%): Facilitate the adoption and enhancement of financial information systems to support college operations, emphasizing sustainable financial practices.
   
University Liaison and Advocacy (10%): Act as the liaison with University finance, Human Resources and administration officials, advocating for sustainable financial policies and practices.
   
Fiscal Forecasting and Financial Modeling (10%): Provide fiscal forecasting for the College, considering long-term sustainability and growth encompassing all three College missions. Provide financial modeling to support strategic decision-making. 

Staff and Administrative Management (5%): Supervise the Director of Finance and provide guidance for team leadership to foster a culture of sustainability within the Finance and Administration team.

Additional Job Description

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree and ten years administrative services, public administration, business management or related field.
