Job Description Summary

The Leadership Coach for MUSC Health reports to the Executive Coach. Under limited supervision, the leadership coach works with the employee engagement team, and MUSC Health leaders, to develop professional coaching strategies and outcomes. The primary function of the leadership coach will be to coach leaders and their teams, supporting them in their personal development. The leadership coach will also develop and lead course content as it relates to the coaching and the overall mission of leadership excellence and engaged teams at MUSC Health.

Job Responsibilities

1.1 Provide leadership coaching/consultation on professional development.             

Weight 75%

Success Criteria

  • Serve as a leadership coach to MUSC Health system leaders.
  • Provide team coaching sessions
  • Provide team development
  • Facilitate classes related to coaching and leadership.

1.2 Provide support /identify key strategies within engagement, and leadership excellence.

 Weight 25%                                  

Success Criteria

  • Provide support for Leadership Development Institute (LDI)
  • Provide support for employee engagement and leadership excellence.
  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to identify and procure the appropriate organizational/leader data for the purpose of guiding leadership development.

Additional Job Description

Education: Bachelors Degree or equivalent Work Experience: 4-6 years leadership coaching experience. Preferred IFC or EMCC coaching certification.
