Job Description Summary

The Business Analyst II researches, analyzes, and designs system applications to meet the needs of MUSC with a focus on integration with Workday. Consults with users to identify current operating procedures, problems, and requirements. Designs models and develops materials used for analysis and solution development including process maps and diagrams.

Develops process documentation and other aids for users to assist with installation, maintenance, and operating procedures. May create coding and logic specifications for developers.

Job Description

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and requirements for Workday enhancements, projects, and break fixes. 

Elicit and document clear, concise, and comprehensive business requirements. Work with cross-functional teams to design solutions that meet business requirements.

Ensure alignment between business goals and technology capabilities. Prepares or assists in technical specifications for integrations.

Ensures that artifacts are maintained in a controlled manner following departmental standards.

Ensures that integrations are built and operating as required. Documents integration requirements and future enhancements. Monitors integrations for errors, troubleshoots, and engages stakeholders for required actions.

Additional Job Description

Bachelor’s college degree in information technology, business or related field. 

Proven experience as a Business Analyst.

Familiarity with ERP integrations.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment. 

Experience in data analysis and diagraming.
