MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: All applicants must possess a valid PA certificate in Speech and Language; a Bachelors degree in Speech Pathology or a Masters in Speech Pathology; a valid PA Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred, but not mandatory; excellent organizational and leadership skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; problem solving abilities; knowledge of program management, school curriculum, and managing/leading personnel, management of school facility, community, County, and State agencies, regulations and standards for Special Education; knowledge of speech and language development therapy, sign language; and an interest in urban education.
