The Ferreira laboratory at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) and Hollings Cancer Center in Charleston, SC (http://www.ferreiralab.com) is seeking highly motivated and creative postdoctoral fellows interested in designing and developing engineered conventional and regulatory T cell therapies for autoimmune disease and cancer.

Job Description

Lead a project related to above-described work, perform experimental procedures relevant to project such as T cell isolation and genetic modification, immune assays, basic mouse surgical procedures, development of animal models,  etc. E35%

 Analysis and interpretation of data. Generating and organizing material for presentation. Assist with writing abstracts and manuscripts. E35%

 Assist with projects of other lab personnel in related projects when required using similar techniques as described above. E15%

 Keep records and up-to-date lab notebook. Keep abreast of the literature in the subject area. Write manuscripts E15%
