Job Description Summary

The IBD Coordinator (registered nurse) in the Digestive Disease Center reports to the DHEM Front-End Operations Manager. This role will be a registered nurse with clinical experience caring for patients with gastrointestinal diseases who has a passion for working with IBD patients and coordinating their care. The main purpose of this position is to coordinate with the IBD team in improving the quality of care delivered to our patients.

Job Description

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Minimum of two years of nursing experience. Current South Carolina licensure as a registered nurse. Current certification in Basic Life Support. New employees are required to obtain and maintain BLS certification within completion of general orientation. Other certifications may be required to maintain employment for a respective department.

Additional Job Description

Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing and a minimum of three years related clinical nursing work experience required. Licensure a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or compact state required. Certification as a generalist in a related specialty area by the American Nurses Association (ANA) preferred. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required
