Job Description Summary

The Benchmarking Analyst will serve as a member of the Decision Support team and provide analytical, statistical, and technical support to MUSC Health System Performance Excellence and leaders throughout the clinical enterprise.

This position will ensure the integrity of the benchmarking data and validate that submissions are timely and accurate.

Job Description

This position will develop and prepare detailed spreadsheets, map and audit data, create and generate reports, along with providing system support for all Operational Benchmarking systems.

Ensure the integrity of the benchmarking data and validate that submissions are timely and accurate. It requires proficiency with analytical tools, knowledge of data analysis methodology, use of presentation software, strong communication skills and a strong commitment to and affinity for delivering the highest level of customer service.

Serve as the Decision Support resource to users of benchmarking systems by providing user application support, along with education to new users and continuing education for current users.

Additional Job Description

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field from an accredited college or university and three years of progressively responsible work experience in a position requiring strong analytical skills, data compilation, high proficiency in Excel, and excellent communication (written & verbal) skills required.

Master’s degree and/or experience with Action O-I, Prospect, EPIC, or EPSI preferred.  Completion of an Administrative Fellowship will be equivalent to the professional experience requirement.  

Must be able to work within established protocol to meet required work within given time frames.  Must be dependable in both time and production.
