Job Description

The Certified Nurse Assistant or Emergency Room Technician performs routine duties within the limits of training and certification in caring for the hospitalized patient. The care is rendered under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Performs other duties related to the work described herein.

Experience: Desirable characteristics include at least two years of experience in a hospital or medically related environment. Must be able to follow directions and to perform work according to department standards when no directions are given. Must be emotionally mature and able to function effectively under stress

Additional Job Description

Education: Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Licenses/Certification: Currently registered as a Certified Nurse Assistant in South Carolina; must be current in the Nurse Aide Registry or have a Emergency Medical Tech Certification or equivalent. Must have current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
