The primary function of this position is to access patient requisitions/labels, collect samples of blood from patients of all ages in a timely manner and keep work flow at a smooth pace. Draws and collects blood samples from patients, verifies records and prepares specimens for laboratory analysis. May prick finger to draw blood. Collects chain of custody urine drug screens as required. Assists in covering other shifts when necessary.Entity

Additional Job Description
Education: High School Graduate or GED required. Phlebotomist Certificate if available.
Licenses/Certificates: Phlebotomist certificate preferred. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
