Job Description Summary
The Manager of Revenue Integrity is responsible for ensuring timely, appropriate charge capture for patient services for the MUSC Health enterprise. Working with departmental leaders, the manager is responsible for monitoring and tracking timely, accurate charge capture practices across the enterprise. This includes training, maintaining and tracking compliance with the revenue reconciliation policies and procedures. The manager leads the revenue optimization efforts of the organization through timely completion of charge review workqueues, revenue guardian edits, and providing feedback to operational areas on opportunities for improvement.Entity

Job Description
Manages one or more functional areas of a department. Manages two or more professional and support staff including subordinate supervisors. Typically has hire, fire, or promotion authority. Evaluates and makes improvements to department processes while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and applicable laws and regulations. More discretion and greater financial authority than other lower management levels. Manages initiatives, strategic priorities and programs which have an impact on the organization. Works independently and in collaboration with leadership to support the budget process and meeting key operational goals. Plans, organizes, facilitates, monitors, and evaluates activities and functions of the department/functional business area based employee/organizational goals. Collaborates with leaders to establish operating procedures, enhance clinical/non-clinical workflows, increase productivity, and improve overall quality outcomes and operational efficiencies within a variety of delivery settings.Additional Job Description
Education: Bachelor's degree in related field. CPC preferred. Epic experience and certification preferred. Minimum of three years of work experience in a progressive management role with overall healthcare billing experience preferred. Must have direct experience with hospital / physician billing reimbursement preferably in a system setting. Strong leadership and consultative skills. Excellent analytical and project management skills. Exceptional interpersonal and strong verbal/written communication skills. Strong computer skills; MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel with advanced knowledge of financial systems, to include skills with other business intelligence and analytical tools.
