Job Description Summary
The Mammography Clinical Nurse Coordinator reports to the Breast Imaging Manager. The coordinator’s role is to ensure exceptional patient care in an environment that is respectful, accountable for patient outcomes, and adaptable to change. Key responsibilities include coordinating patient care, providing patient education, fostering communication and collaboration, managing documentation and reporting, ensuring timely notification of results to providers, and participation in quality improvement initiatives. Additionally, the coordinator functions as a case manager and liaison for the Breast Imaging Team, while also serving as a resource for patients, providers, and clinics.Entity

Job Description
- Ensure that areas of responsibility adhere to relevant safety, regulatory, certification and/or accreditation standards
- Demonstrate a commitment to quality patient care, environment, and professional development.
- Demonstrate accountability for personal and professional competency and growth.
- Ensure that quality services are provided and manage the daily operations for the provision of patient care within a specified area.
- Provide leadership to achieve desired outcomes.
- Serves as a case manager, educator, and support for Mammography patient population.
Additional Job Description
Education: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Work Experience: 6 years progressive work experience and one year management experience.
State licensure and/or professional certification requirement/s dependent on position.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
