Job Description Summary

The Sleep and Anxiety Treatment and Research Program (SATRP) within the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in beautiful Charleston, SC is seeking a full-time clinical faculty member to provide evidence based outpatient treatment for a wide variety of both sleep and anxiety issues. This position requires a psychologist who will see patients, supervise trainees, coordinate patient care, and participate in program activities (e.g., journal clubs, case conferences).

Opportunities are available to be involved in clinical research, as well as teaching of medical students, psychology interns, postdoctoral fellows, and psychiatric fellows. This position will collaborate within a multidisciplinary team of psychologists, psychiatrists, pulmonologists, trainees, and basic scientists. Expertise in cognitive behavioral therapy for anxiety disorders is highly recommended.

Job Description

The Sleep and Anxiety Treatment and Research Program (SATRP) within the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in beautiful Charleston, SC is seeking a full-time clinical faculty member to provide evidence based outpatient treatment for a wide variety of both sleep and anxiety issues. Work Schedule: Full Time, 40 Hours Per Week

Minimum Requirements: Must hold a terminal degree (Ph.D., M.D., or related). Must have a valid SC medical license or Psychologist license.
