Accountant III Liabilities will report to the Corporate Finance Manager within a specific function of Corporate Finance. This position is in charge of maintaining monthly recording and analysis of a variety of balance sheet accounts of a high degree of complexity.

Job Description
Accountant III for Liabilities will report directly to the Liabilities Manager. Responsibilities include monthly accrued accounts payable and other accrued expenses and assistance with other liability accounts such as patient refunds and other liability accounts originating from special events.
Accruals are completed timely and substantive with historical data trends, source documents and other relevant data.
Workpapers are prepared by market and well organized for review.
Maintains regular communication with other areas to better understand purchase agreements and processing of payments to more accurately reflect accruals.
Additional Job Description
A bachelor’s degree in a business-related field and four (4) years work experience in a business-related area such as accounting, business, audit or finance. Strong analytical, communication and teamwork skills; ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; a solid working knowledge or Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and Outlook software; Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat software is a plus.
Preferred: A bachelor’s degree in accounting with hospital/healthcare-based work experience; MBA, CHFP or CPA designation a plus.
