Description

Provide leadership, management and assistance in the day-to-day operations of the Admissions office. Responsibilities include data and process analysis; strategic guidance and reporting of data, systems and labor needs to support continued growth; and the development of the support staff to best support the office needs.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manages, trains, mentors and assists the admissions Advisors in the day-to-day functioning of the admissions operations department.
  • Creates efficiencies through defining and measuring goals and strategizing ways to improve.
  • Manages the admission process to optimize efficiency and deliver exceptional service, adapts across various functional areas to resolve challenges and coordinates the timely execution of critical admissions cycle tasks.
  • Effectively collaborates with leadership, peers, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and drive organizational goals.
  • Drives the admissions annual planning process including assistance in the preparation of and oversight of all application, enrollment and yield related support activities.
  • Facilitates the accelerated growth of departmental initiatives, including video editing and uploads, application portal advancement, and the development of training materials.
  • Manage the end-to-end production and shipping of admissions decision boxes, including materials critical to informing perspective students for their decision.
  • Serve as primary point of contact in handling complex escalation cases or issues identified by Advisors, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Direct the enrollment and recruitment event process, ensuring smooth coordination and backend support.
  • Partner with the Manager of Admissions Information Systems to ensure seamless integration of updates and process changes within Slate.
  • Supervise the alumni representative programs, providing oversight guidance and technical support while ensuring all functions are coordinated and implemented by the responsible team members.

  • Proficient in MS Office, Google Workplace, Dropbox.
  • Willingness and ability to learn additional software applications as needed.

Position Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree required.

Experience

  • 3+ years’ prior operations experience.
  • Prior supervisory experience of office staff in a similar environment is necessary.
  • Experience working with adolescents in an educational setting preferred.
  • 3+ years of Slate or CRM experience.

Additional Requirements

Successfully complete a criminal background check (reviewed every 5 years).
Clean Driving record (reviewed annually).
